Mercury experienced a short period of downtime today. It is not clear what caused it, as there was no evidence in logs, but we believe the server was under a DOS attack.
These attacks can strike parts of the server at anytime, so they are super hard to prevent. We will take further steps to try and migitate them in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
