Dear Clients, We are very, very sorry about an incident which occured today. We take your data, files and cpanel accounts very seriously. Mercury’s hard drive failed and data on it was lost. We are trying to recover some data from it. Hard drive faliures are very unpredicatable. We had absolutely no idea that the hard drive will fail today with no alerts whatsoever. It is important that you have your own backups. These things can happen anytime, with any server. Our terms of service does state we can not be held liable for data loss. We did not take backups of your sites. We were going to purchase a backup space server, but we did not get round to it yet. We didn’t know the hard drive will crash so early. As we said, it is vital that you take backups of your files. Once again, we sincerely apologise about this unpredicatable incident. It was totally out of our control - we had no idea. We are still talking to our datacenter whether any data can be recovered. Please bear with us, as we try our best to provide support. We take these incidents very seriously, and we know everyone’s files are important. Thank you,
